“From Ararat to Zion”. A Film That Every Armenian Has to Screen
“From Ararat to Zion”. A Film That Every Armenian Has to Screen May 7, 2010

The feature documentary “From Ararat to Zion” produced by Vem Media Arts is playing starting May 5th at Moscow Cinema, Yerevan. It will be playing for 1 week at 17:00, 19:00, 21:00 in the Red Hall.

The film “From Ararat to Zion” is about the role and destiny of small nations in the history of humanity. The documentary pays tribute to the millions of Armenian pilgrims who, with a deep devotion and willingness to sacrifice, contributed significantly in preserving the spiritual traditions and legacy of the Holy Land.

The considerable part of the historical data used in the film have not been preserved in the Armenian historiography, and crucial identity evidences and relics are revealed and shown in the film for the first time.

The film is directed by Edgar Baghdasaryan, written and produced by Fr. Mesrop Aramian. The original English text of the film is narrated by world-famous Hollywood actor Aidаn Quinn. The film is enriched with the voice of Lisa Gerrard, a most popular musical genius in today’s cinema.
