Turkish activist claims Armenians want to create state in eastern Turkey
Turkish activist claims Armenians want to create state in eastern Turkey April 4, 2011

Tansel Colasan, president of Ataturkist Thought Association, expressed concern over problems Turkey is faced with, pointing out the Armenian and Kurdish issues.

Colasan said the current situation in Turkey resembles the last period of Ottoman Empire, noting that they have to get ready for “liberation” war, Turkish Anadolu news agency reports.

“They are trying to repeat events which happened 90 years ago. Armenian issue is in the east, while Kurdish – in the south of Turkey. They want to create a state again. Armenian and Kurdish issues are on the agenda. Besides, they want to destroy Turkey economically. All the plants are closed, unemployment is a usual thing,” she said.
