ST NERSES THE GRACE-FILLED: Commentary on the Gospel of Matthew
ST NERSES THE GRACE-FILLED: Commentary on the Gospel of Matthew

    Bible Commentaries, Vol. 3

Holy Etchmiadzin, 2008, 300 pp. (in Armenian)

This is the first Eastern Armenian translation of the Commentary on the Gospel of Matthew by St Nerses the Grace-filled. For unknown reasons, St Nerses left this treatise unfinished; or perhaps it was finished but hasn't reached us. The last verse explained in this work is Mt 5:17. The Eastern Armenian translation has been done from the Constantinople edition of 1825, which, according to its publishers, was prepared on the basis of several manuscripts.

Translated and annotated by Seda Stamboltsyan.
