"On the Making of Man" by St Gregory of Nyssa was translated into Armenian in Constantinople in 717 by Stepanos of Siwnik' (Syunetsi) and David the Hypatos. The present volume is the first critical edition of the Classical Armenian text, made on the basis of ten manuscripts of the Mashtots Matenadaran (Institute of Ancient Manuscripts).

The critical text has been prepared, annotated and the Introduction written by Prof. Stella Vardanyan, M.D.
