    This volume is the second edition of the two studies by Bishop Makar Barkhudariants that are of unique importance for historiography and ethnography. The author who lived in the 19th century and was originally from Artsakh, travelled along the regions of historical Aluank and Artsakh, and provides the readers with detailed descriptions of all the places he has visited, including their inhabitants with their customs and folk-lore, historical monuments, manuscripts, inscriptions, etc.

    This new edition was prepared for publication and edited by Pavel Chobanyan.
