This monastery was located in the province of Turuberan, Greater Armenia. According to tradition, it received its name after the brothers Amir and Dolu who had renovated the complex. The monastery embraces three churches. The foundation date is uncertain; however, it is known that in the 15th century, the Amrdolu Monastery was a large Armenian scriptorium.
