Economy and Values
Economy and Values is an innovative program promoting discussion of fundamental economic problems in Armenian society today. The program explores corruption, economic liberty, mental models and prosperity, economic security, national economic strategy, and the development of the economy in the context of national/cultural values. The program also features success stories of Armenian businesses.
The program focuses on the following major issues: what is the relationship between cultural and national values and economic development? Why isn’t the networking potential of the Diaspora being utilized to its maximal potential? What are the major problems facing businesses in Armenia? Can a sustainable national economic system be created? Participants are business leaders from Armenia and the Diaspora, as well as scholars, and other professionals.
