Some spheres absent in the Soviet social system are developing slowly nowadays. For example, ecology. Of course, already during the last years of the Soviet empire, some ecological movements were formed. Specialists alerted about phenomena that harmed human health and our biological habitat and criticized the central authorities because everything was decided there. But it's a painful fact that after the independence we began to destroy our nature and country more savagely, as if this insatiable consumer attitude is rooted and directed toward a homeland of foreigners.
