In September, two international scientific conferences were held in Moscow and Gyumri.
The Moscow conference titled "The Armenian Diaspora and Armenian-Russian Relations: History and Modernity" hosted more than 100 armenologists and specialists in related disciplines from 16 countries. The conference was promising in terms of the development of Armenology.
The Gyumri conference titled "Historical-Cultural Heritage of Shirak: Contemporary Issues of Armenology" was important in that most participants were representatives of the modern generation.
