Historian Kevork Yazedjian compiled and published the book "Political Movements and Colonies of the Diaspora in Secret Soviet Documents (1945-1991)," which includes important documents related to the ARF, ASALA, ANM, SDHP, and ADLP.
Under the guise of diplomacy, Soviet intelligence agents operated throughout the world. Soviet agents representing various organizations regularly sent memos and reports from abroad to their superiors in Moscow. Copies of those reports were also sent to Yerevan to inform the leadership of the Communist party of the Armenian Soviet Republic about the internal processes in the countries with Armenian communities.
