An investigation into central fundamental issues such as the meaning of life, our calling, the search for truth, the choice of the spiritual way. Additionally, we investigate other themes such as dogmatic purity and the recognition of one’s own tradition. All these and more are discussed by the participants of Spiritual Discussions.
What are the Church’s responses to these challenging questions? What is the relationship between the spiritual and material aspects of life? Is it possible to reach perfection in this life? How does one carry out the commandments of Christianity? What should be our attitude towards various sects? How should we protect our children and ourselves from “spiritual deformations”? Thorough responses and discussions to these questions and other important issues will be heard in Spiritual Discussions.

Many think that God deprived humans from the free will when He put a prohibition in the Paradise. Is this conclusion correct? So freedom was given to humans to choose between good and evil. But was there an alternative to this? Many people say they live according to their understanding, not according to God or evil. Is there a third way, which means there are many ways and, consequently, many choices? Today is the Sunday of Expulsion of Lent. If we didn't have the possibility to implement free will, would the expulsion be justified as a result of a wrong deed?

We can see the Holy Spirit's presence during the creation when He willed that the creation would come to existence, commanded, and it happened. Isn't the human being, who has been created in the image and likeness of God, also tripartite in this sense? What to do so that humans speak what they want and that they do what they say? And what to do so that humans may want, speak and do only good things?

- Fr. Nshan Alaverdyan
Why did the Lord hide the wisdom from the wise of this world and why did He reveal it to the foolish in this world? Why did He choose those that are lowly, despised and counted as nothing? Why doesn't God despise anyone, and how does the world categorize people according to its standards? Should we agree with our state of being despised by the world?
